    About our presenter

A lover of antiques and estate sales, Michelle Shkolnick weighs the value of a treasure by the beauty it brings to the world, not by its net worth. That same, positive outlook helped her beat not one, but two forms of cancer. After being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2001, at age 35, Michelle was already a hard-fought survivor when an unrelated throat cancer diagnosis found her in 2013. Now a combined 17+ year survivor, Michelle has become an advocate for the fight against cancer, serving as a 2012 Hero of Hope with the American Cancer Society and speaking on their behalf at surrounding community events. Originally from Memphis, Tennessee, Michelle has called Omaha home for nearly 40 years, where she resides with her beloved Jack Russell Beagle mix, Bailey.
